Microsoft’s Surface Book i7 doubles the GPU performance of its predecessor - riceworythe

Microsoft's new Aboveground Book i7 will have longer stamp battery life and more than double the graphics functioning of the previous model.

Describing it as the "ultimate laptop," Microsoft exec Panos Panay said the design goal of the updated Surface Hold i7 was simple: "We took the Nub i7, and then we gave information technology more."

The "more" here equals just about 1.9 teraflops of GPU performance inside the original Surface Playscript i7, adding value to a merchandise that Panay says already has the highest customer satisfaction ratings among any current Windows 10 machine or any MacBook. The total design cues don't change. The screen is fully clastic and correctable and can function as a tablet, while the base contains the artwork chip and extra batteries. Pen and touch are supported, of course. And that uncomparable Fulcrum hinge, which was rumored to exist on the chopping block, remains.

What's inside?

The biggest upgrade is, of trend, the GPU. The original Surface Book used a "GeForce" GPU with atomic number 102 true simulation number attached to information technology. What will surely disappoint close to fans is the port selection. From what I can tell, the Surface Book i7 sports the same ports as the original, with a Mini DisplayPort, Surface magnetic charging connector, and parallel sound along the appropriate side. The left side sports two USB Group A ports and an SD card reader. Put differently: no Thunderbolt 3 and no USB Type C support.

Microsoft pulled an Apple

Microsoft said it was able to get up to 30 percent more assault and battery electrical capacity into the Surface Book i7. As the original had an 18 watt-hour petrol tankful in the tablet fortune and 51 W-minute in the base, the newer Surface Book i7 will likely feature an immense 90 watt-hour battery inside.
